I had a lovely wedding yesterday at Stanneylands Hotel in Wilmslow, Cheshire. Just 50 happy, friendly guests (swelling to 100 in the evening), excellent weather despite the forecast, and an exceedingly nice couple. The whole thing was expertly orchestrated by the Stanneylands’ own MC, Eamon, making sure everything ran according to plan.
A full blog post will no doubt follow in due course, but for now here’s my trademark last-shot-of-the-night (actually there were a couple afterwards, but who’s counting?). The hotel has a sunken “secret garden” and I wanted to capture something of the essence of it. I do like a nice bit of lens flare, too.
