Portrait Photography

in Kent

I’m Tim Hensel, (probably) the finest portrait photographer Kent, Folkestone and the surrounding areas have to offer. My studio nestles comfortably within Folkestone’s thriving Creative Quarter and I can also travel further afield in pursuit of the perfect shoot for you, your family or even your pet pug, Derek.

Portrait Photographer Kent

Finding a portrait photographer in Kent, or indeed elsewhere, who will work with you to create and capture that perfect moment, mood and setting can be a challenge.

That’s why I encourage you to give me a call or email to discuss your ideas, expectations and any questions you may have before you book.

After all, the moments in time captured during your portrait photography session can never be repeated, and will stay on your walls or in your family albums for good.

Why Choose Me?

This is my website, so this is no place for modesty. With a decade of experience under my belt as a portrait and wedding photographer, I love what I do and I truly believe that reflects in your photographs.

Hailing from a family of artists, creativity runs in my blood. I’m also a thoroughly decent chap and won’t make you say “cheese”. Promise. I don’t even like cheese.

Much like a wedding, it’s important to feel that you can trust your photographer with your family’s shoot. You want a makeover too? I’ve even got an in-house professional makeup artist. Yes indeed.

Here’s why I’m the perfect fit for you and anyone seeking a portrait photographer in Kent and Folkestone – read what others have to say about me below and view my gallery for examples I’ve shot.

I like having my clients speak for me… see more of what they say here.

Kent Portrait Photographer

“I’m based in Folkestone, Kent and regularly shoot families from all over the county, as well as from Sussex and London. I love shooting in my studio and that’s what most people ask me to do. But we could also shoot outside on location. There are some lovely beaches, parks and open spaces near my studio.
Or, if you’ve got a favourite spot somewhere within ten miles or so of Folkestone, that’s good with me…weather permitting!”
