Well, it’s that time again. The sharp witted amongst you (and I like to think everyone enlightened enough to read my blog is sharp witted) will remember that I had a new website built some time last year. However, being a glutton for punishment I took it upon myself to rebuild the whole thing.

I wanted to make the interface cleaner, make it display better on mobiles and tablets (and have the look of the mobile versions consistent with the desktop site), without endless bouts of mucking about in cyberspace.

I also wanted it to focus more on Wedding Photography, that being as it is the core of my business. Portrait photography and so on is of course still on there, and is, I hope, easy to find if you’re looking for it, but takes a seat somewhat further back on the bus. I’m keen for my wedding clients to see me as more of a wedding specialist, something that will not put off my local portrait clients.

Furthermore I hope you can hear more of my voice in the blurb now. I’ve tried to make it as friendly and approachable as possible, as the internet can be a cold and unforgiving sort of place otherwise. You’ll be pleased to see that the famous Tim Hensel Photography Cats are now listed as proper members of staff, and that there is a reference to the insides of a dog on the Albums page.

Anyway, have a look around (www.timhenselphotography.com) – in fact if you’re reading this on my blog you’re already on here. I’d love to hear any thoughts, comments and so forth that you may have.

Website Credits: Me for designing and building it, E-pix for the WordPress theme, David Laslett for kind words and advice, and a nice lady called Maria in Bulgaria who moved it to my home domain.

Thanks for looking

–Tim
