Wedding Photography in Marple, Cheshire & Glossop Derbyshire
A winter wedding on a sunny day is a very fine thing indeed, especially when coupled with a couple as relaxed as Rachel & David. Congratulations to you both 🙂
Nice happy people, good weather and some pretty decent scenery too – I know a good recipe for wedding photography when I see one. After bridal preparations in Marple, a sunny suburb of Stockport, Cheshire, the ceremony was held at All Saints Church, Marple. We stopped en route for some really rather good (in my wholly unbiased opinion 😉 location shots just over the county line into Derbyshire, at a great spot with views of Derbyshire, Chesire, Stockport and Manchester. And plenty of hills and sunshine. It was quite cold though.
From there we proceeded to Windy Harbour Farm Hotel in Glossop, Derbyshire, for the reception. Here, on the wedding photography side of things, some golden horizontal sunlight was ready waiting for us (that’s how it seemed – scroll down for photographic evidence!)
Needless to say, a good time was had by all.
