About Tim
Tim Hensel is a professional photographer working out of his own studio in New Mills, High Peak, Derbyshire. Whilst much of his work is in Cheshire, Derbyshire and Greater Manchester, he often shoots further afield too.
Initially learning about photography from the age of 14, Tim now uses the latest digital cameras, lights and computer software to produce photographs of the highest quality. He takes great care in his work and makes every effort to ensure happy customers every time.
Tim achieved international fame in 2008 with his winning entry “Suck” to the Diesel Wall public art competition. The artwork was displayed at a size of almost 100 feet wide on the side of the Urbis building in central Manchester.
He has worked with many notable people, photographing royalty at Windsor Castle, where he has been asked to return.
Tim is a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP), Europe’s largest photographic trade body.
